An artist living in London with the goal of sharing my love for art and my thoughts with as many people as possible through a myriad of mediums.
Interested in Music and Production but also Writing, Sketching, Travelling and Psychology. When adults asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I took it as a challenge.
My house has been resounding with the sound of music (coincidentally a formative musical for me) ever since I can remember. I grew up living with my aunt, Avani (right), who has had acute cerebral palsy since she was a baby and subsequently, a heightened sense of hearing. Some of my earliest memories consist of Hindi songs that my late Grandfather (left) would sing to her, that we were always encouraged to replicate. I sang most anything - from English Rap to Spanish Film songs - all to find songs she woulad love and would make her laugh.
This formed my nascent interest to create my own songs that would spread such joy, and would resonate with people when nothing else did. I continue to be inspired by my musical family and am extremely grateful to be blessed with one that is so supportive in it.
Making music and art that relates to people is often a goal for artists. For me, music underlies every aspect of my life. I send song links to stay in touch with my friends across continents, I have reconnected and formed new relationships with people over our mutual adoration for music and study it across time - what it tells us about world events and people . Thus, I want to make music that hopefully allows others to connect with it to that level. Art can display a lot about a time in history and I want to do my part and contribute to it.
Growing up Indian and having shifted countries early on, has allowed me uncover a lot about myself such as my Trans-Man identity, that influences my music in many facets. Indian microtonal singing/ percussion, LGBTQIA+ themes in lyrics and performances, as well as themes of mental health and philosophy can be seen in my projects. I aim to make music representative of myself and people both like and unlike me.
