An (almost) Graduate based in London with the goal of sharing my love for art and my thoughts with as many people as possible through a myriad of mediums.
When adults asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I took it as a challenge!

My house has been resounding with the sound of music (coincidentally a formative musical for me) ever since I can remember. I grew up living with my aunt, Avani (right), who has had acute cerebral palsy since she was a baby and subsequently, a heightened sense of hearing. Some of my earliest memories consist of Hindi songs that my late Grandfather (left) would sing to her, that we were always encouraged to replicate. I sang most anything - from English Rap to classic Film songs - all to find songs she would love and would make her laugh.
Growing up Indian and having shifted countries early on, my home and the people within it continue to inspire me. Indian microtonal singing, percussion and classics continue to prove foundational to my music - as well as my very musical family who are so supportive of it.

Being in a position of studying Popular Music and living in the centre of one of the biggest music scenes has allowed me to see, experience, practice and learn a veritable amount about what I love so much. It is a privilege to be surrounded by such a slew of creatives, all of whom can offer so much and are trying their best in a world that doesn't always make it easy.
Moving out at 14 allowed me to uncover my Trans-Man identity, which influences my music strongly. My perspective encourages me to support / create and participate in as many projects from groups and creatives like and unlike me as possible - as I think fostering this community is what will give us certainty in uncertain times.
A manner of doing this is to continue to create. Through consistent collaboration, especially in a city like London which has so much to offer, I believe in challenging and stimulating myself to see what I am capable of. Constantly creating despite the challenges, in a myriad of ways, allows for healing, new perspectives, growth and community.
